Your file stays on your device, because modern browsers can compress a photo, shrink a PDF or convert a video on their own, using the page’s own code, the Canvas API and, for the heavy jobs, WebAssembly. That is how every tool here is built. There is no upload to wait for, no copy left on someone else’s server, and it still works when you go offline.

Is Sunasty really free?
Yes. Every tool is free, with no account and no limits. It can be free because the work runs on your own device, so there are almost no server costs to cover. And since your files never reach us, there is nothing for us to sell.
Do my files get uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool processes your file entirely inside your browser. You can check it yourself: open your browser’s Network tab while using any tool. No request ever carries your file.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once a tool’s page has loaded, it keeps working with your connection cut, because the processing happens locally. Sunasty is also installable as an app (PWA).
Do I need to create an account?
Never. There is no sign-up, no email, no daily quota and no file-size tier. You open a tool and use it.
