Is the URL or text I encode transmitted when generating the QR code?

No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser using the Canvas API and a local JavaScript encoder. The content you type, including private links, Wi-Fi passwords or contact details, is never sent to Sunasty or any third-party server.

What types of content can I encode?

Plain text, URLs, Wi-Fi credentials (SSID, password and security type in WPA format), email addresses, phone numbers (tel: URI), SMS, calendar events (iCal format) and raw data. The resulting QR code is readable by any standard QR scanner.

PNG or SVG, which format should I use?

Choose SVG for print, large-format output and any situation where the code will be scaled up significantly, because SVG renders crisply at any size. Choose PNG for digital use such as websites, presentations or messaging apps where a raster image is expected.

How large can I make the center logo before the QR code stops scanning?

QR codes have built-in error correction. At the highest level (level H) up to 30 percent of the modules can be obscured and the code still decodes. A logo covering roughly 20 to 25 percent of the centre is a safe limit; test with several scanning apps at the intended print or display size to confirm readability.

Does a transparent background cause scanning problems?

It depends on what the code is placed on. If the background behind the code is light, the dark dots remain clearly visible and scanning works normally. If it is placed on a dark or busy background, the contrast drops and the code may fail to scan. Always preview against the intended background before printing.

Does the QR code expire, or can it stop working later?

No. The content you type, URL, text or Wi-Fi credentials, is encoded directly into the QR code pattern by your browser; there is no third-party redirect or short-link service involved that could go offline or expire. The code keeps decoding to the same content indefinitely on any standard scanner. You can also restyle it any time afterwards: dot shape, colour or a logo can change without altering the encoded data itself, as long as you re-enter the same content.

Do I need an account, and can I create a QR code on my phone?
