How Crop image works
Image Crop lets you define a rectangular region on your photo using an interactive drag-and-resize overlay, then exports only that region as a new file. The crop preview updates live as you move or resize the selection handles. All Canvas operations run locally; the original file is read from your disk and never transmitted to any server.
You can constrain the crop to a fixed aspect ratio (such as 16:9 for video thumbnails or 1:1 for avatars) or keep it free-form. The pixel coordinates of the selection are displayed so you can enter exact values if you need a precise crop rather than a visual estimate. Output is downloaded directly to your device in the same format as the input, preserving quality where possible.
