Choose a category, pick the units to convert from and to, type a value, and the result updates instantly. Metric and imperial are both covered (cm↔in, kg↔lb, km/h↔mph, °C↔°F, and many more).

Factor-based categories use exact internationally-defined ratios (1 inch = 0.0254 m, for instance), while temperature is converted through Celsius so the offset between scales is handled, not just a multiplier.
