Organize PDF pages, reorder, rotate, delete

Load a PDF, rearrange pages with the arrow buttons, rotate them 90°, mark pages for deletion, then export. Everything stays in your browser.

How Organize PDF pages works

PDF Organize presents every page of your PDF as a thumbnail you can drag into a new order, rotate by 90 degrees at a time, or delete entirely before exporting the result. The whole workflow runs in your browser using pdf-lib, so your document is held in local memory and is never sent anywhere. Closing the tab discards all changes.

This tool is suited for structural problems: pages that came out of a scanner in the wrong order, a blank page that crept in at the middle, or a portrait page sitting inside a landscape document. It does not edit the content of individual pages. Changes are applied in memory and only committed when you click download, so experimenting freely carries no cost.

How to use Organize PDF pages, step by step

  1. Drop your PDF onto the page to load the thumbnail grid.
  2. Drag page thumbnails left or right to set the order you want.
  3. Click the rotate icon on any thumbnail to turn that page 90 degrees clockwise.
  4. Click the delete icon to remove any unwanted pages from the set.
  5. When the arrangement looks correct, click download to get the rebuilt PDF.

Common use cases

  • A multi-page scan returned pages in reverse order; drag them back into sequence before sharing.
  • A book chapter was exported with a blank page inserted by the printer driver; delete it without touching the rest.
  • A portrait-orientation title page landed at the end of a landscape report; move it to position one.
  • Two separate PDF exports need to be merged in a specific order; combine them with the PDF merge tool and then fine-tune the page order here.

Frequently asked questions

Does the tool upload my PDF to process it?

No. Your PDF is parsed by pdf-lib inside your browser tab. Page thumbnails are rendered from data in local memory, your reorder or deletion instructions are applied there, and the new PDF is assembled in memory and handed to you as a download. The file never leaves your device.

Can I combine pages from two different PDFs here?

This tool organises the pages of one loaded PDF. To pull pages from multiple source files into one document, use the PDF merge tool, which accepts several input files at once.

Can I undo a page deletion if I change my mind?

Changes are only committed when you download. Before that point, you can reload the original file to start fresh. There is no undo history within the current session, but since nothing is written until download, reloading is the safe reset.

How many pages can the tool handle?

There is no hard page limit in the tool itself. Very large PDFs may take a moment to render all thumbnails because the rendering happens in your browser, but the process will complete as long as your device has enough memory.

Does rotating a page here affect its text layer?

Rotating changes the page viewport entry in the PDF structure. The embedded text, fonts and images are preserved; only the orientation of the page as seen by a viewer changes.
