How Timesheet calculator works
Timesheet calculator takes your clock-in and clock-out times for each work period throughout the day, including breaks, and computes your total regular hours, overtime and gross pay. Add multiple rows for a split-shift or a day with several work blocks and it tallies them all.
This is different from the Time duration tool, which measures the gap between two clock times in isolation. The Timesheet is about the full day: accumulating multiple periods, applying overtime thresholds and applying an hourly rate to produce a pay figure. Freelancers, shift workers and consultants use it to cross-check their own records. Set a daily or weekly threshold and hours beyond it are flagged as overtime and multiplied by your configured rate before being added to the total.
